Homeland Junior School was founded in 2010 by Ms. Nabaweesi Suzan, a passionate educationist, with a vision to nurture young minds through quality education. Nestled in Nantabulirwa Village, Nantabulirwa Parish, Goma Division, Mukono District, the school began with just 32 pupils, ranging from Baby Class to Primary Four. With a humble but determined start, the school was staffed by only three dedicated teachers — Ms. Nabaweesi Suzan, Ms. Namatovu Hellen, and Ms. Nakkazi Dianah. Ms. Nabaweesi not only taught but also served as the headteacher from 2010 until 2018, laying a strong foundation for the school’s growth. Over the years, Homeland Junior School has grown steadily, now offering a full range of classes from Baby Class all the way to Primary Seven. With a continued commitment to excellence and holistic development, the school remains a beacon of learning in the Mukono district.
